At work all day today, so another from yesterday’s trip to the dentist in Lincoln. Taken further down the river Witham , in the opposite direction to Brayford Pool. I have photographed the art work here before for my project. It was a bit controversial when it was first commissioned, but I think it is accepted now.

Nice capture of the aryeork. At first I thought it was boned or fudh, but looking closer it appears to represent proplr, or ghosts. Smile. I can see why it would be controversal. I often wonder how they decide on this type of artwork and their thinking behind it, not to mention the prices they seem to pay.
I really like this artwork. I am going to have to go. We keep threatening to go to Lincoln for a weekend rather than going North of us so you are persuading me even more.
