Carnegie Library

This was Loughborough’s first Library. During my childhood & probably still, it was always the Children’s Library. I think the architecture is fantastic.
An Edwardian edifice no less. Impressive.

@onewing yes Babs it is. The bit of orange building at the side to the right, is the modern bit. A carbuncle in comparison!

It's a beautiful bit of architecture. Lovely stonework and that huge arched window.........very Play School and wonderful!
