This little one made me jump! I was looking at dahlias & he suddenly appeared! It wasn’t long before he trundled down to a wilderness area & was gone. I’ve read that they don’t usually come out in the day time unless there is a problem, but he appears very healthy.
Cute capture. They don't normally come out during the day, but I had one in my garden and was told as long as it's moving ok and trundles back into the wilderness it's probably out getting something to eat or having a rest from the hoglets in the nest!
@phil_sandford I believe personal info is optional, just a name, which you could make up, but there are other hedgehog reporting sites, they're so endangered in the countryside, there's many more in urban areas now as reports to sites are finding!!
