Outside of the Uk probably known as the fruit of the Horse Chestnut tree. Kids take great delight in collecting them & some even still play the game of conkers.
I think many places have now banned the game of conkers on health under safety rules. This generation is missing out on so much fur by being overprotected

Love it, what an outstanding shot. fav. I used to love playing conkers when I was a child. I hear they have banned it in some places now because it is dangerous. Life is dangerous, get over it, ha ha.
