Jack Frost by carole_sandford

Jack Frost

He was certainly at play last night ! This amazing pattern of leaves / feathers was evident on the outside of our conservatory windows until at least mid morning today. The conservatory is Unheated.
I remember this at home as a child, before central heating was a necessity & we had a coal fire. I was always fascinated by the beautiful patterns & I guess I still am.
At the farm when we were young .I can remember running my fingers over the patterns. Always cold in those bedrooms!

Beautiful.

I’m sure we had ice inside probably at Middleton St George or Wattisham, but I don’t remember it. Certainly didn’t have it at Akrotiri and by Rougham we had central heating.
