From a few days ago at St Michael’s Mount when the tide was coming in rather quickly. At low tide it is possible to walk across to the island. We didn’t expect the water to swirl behind us - wet feet ! You can see that about half of the path is submerged here.
Oops , good you were able not to get yourselves too wet -- A lovely capture of St Michaels Mount and the disappearing mount as the tide comes in ! Lovely glimmer on the sea ! fav
It brings to mind the sand bar at Fingal Spit here. People get stranded on the island because they don't realize that the tide creeps around the back and the front of them too. Some people try to go back and we have the occasional drownings.
