WW1

My late father-in-law is on the front row, second from the right.
He was a Dispatch Rider in both world wars, was shot in the leg,and later awarded the "Distinguished Conduct Medal"
Many thanks for all your views, comments and favs, always much appreciated.
Fascinating! Very interesting!

We must remember those heroes My father in law flew in Whitley's and we were lucky to have him return safely and a more cheerful man you could not wish to meet. He died in 2004 aged 93 and was lucky enough to have a wonderfully long life
