@alophoto. It's a Gothic Temple. Don't know if it was ever used as a church, I would imagine it was just for show in the gardens. It can now be booked as a holiday place. The gardens were designed by Capability Brown, a very famous landscape gardener. The house and gardens now belong to the National Trust. Next to the house is Stowe School, a well known public school.

stowe on a beautiful day. The swan did you a favour by gliding into the scene here. So much life (birds and sheep) going on in the capture.
