Hopefully everybody is having a great weekend ;) Mine has been pretty much as a hostage from bad weather. Everything is grey, cold and dead like.
So to cheer us up a bit we decided to go to a Christmas street fair in old old old town of Wülfrath. So after one "Glühwein", one "Polinisch Bratwurst" and one very cute new cap I had accepted that the weather was way too bad to keep trying the day´s photo.
When we were walking back to the car I´ve spotted one composition that was just too interesting to be missed, one alley, one tiny red bike and an old rusty green gate. The only way I could possibly to get a nice picture of this scene was to use multiple exposures, but I had no tripod with me. So I had to run back to the car to get the tripod and just before the rain started again I felt I got what I needed... but was totally out of breath :(
So this one is a HDR from 7 different exposures. Hopefully you like this picture because it was the best I could manage today.
Thank you so much for your time, for your comments and for the constant support.
@markbuehl, must say that it was not very easy to do it... in fact I believe it was the most elaborated HDR shot I´ve uploaded in my project. The problem was after processing with Photomatix everything was too green and grey... so I needed to do a lot of editing in small parts to enhance and brighten colors... and that is always really challenging for me.
Thanks a lot for the comment and for the fav ;) It means much to me ;)
thank you so much. To hear that keeps me motivated ;)
At this time of the year we all get so down here... for a Brazilian to live in NRW, Germany can be quite hard. No friends, no beautiful landscape, no sun, no light... I got no animals, no children, and nobody that would like to be photographed. Everyday is a new challenge for me to bring a nice image to the project ;)
@carrapeta00 Your work paid off. I too find sometimes the HDR process mutes the colors. I think it has a lot to do with the type of day. A bright sunny day works better.
I am still a beginner with HDR and multiple exposures, but I must say I love it so far. At the moment is what is helping me to get some interesting compositions here ;)
thank you Charlotte.... when my husband saw the alley he said I was insane to waste my time, breath and sweat for this image. So far it has proved itself worth every single drop of sweat ;)
Thank you for your sweet words... you are so kind ;)
