Our New Street by carrapeta00

Our New Street

123 / 365
So here it is our new street, here in Costa Rica... just a part of it. It is so steep!! Yesterday we had a long day of rain and fog, better to say that we are in the middle of the clouds. I tried to capture the fog but had not the best result. I need to study this scenery better.

This is my entry for onenightstand, a street (http://365project.org/discuss/general/12282/one-night-stand-challenge).

Work done here:

Well, long long time I haven't done this... tonemapped it in painterly.

Thank you for stopping by and leaving your feedback.

BTW, I always wanted to visit Costa Rica to pan for gold. Suppose to be a great place for amateur panners.

@aspada , hi Amy ;)

Our plan is to stay here at for one year and see how we feel about living and working here. If everything works out fine we might stay for a longer time, but we never know for how long, maybe 5 years, 10 or perhaps for good.

@beachradish , when have you been to CR? Which places did you visit?

We were in the Osa Peninsula many many years ago - it still ranks as one of our favorite trips. Also spent some time on a coffee plantation near San Jose with a beautiful view of city lights at night. This picture reminded me of it.

@beachradish , I love CR... that is the reason why my husband and decided to try a life here instead of Brazil, my country. We were desperate to get out of Germany for a couple of years, perhaps for good... instead of thinking about moving to Brazil which is in a prosperous moment now we decided to come here because we love the feeling of "Costa Rica Pura Vida".

Love "Pura Vida"! It definitely changed our way of thinking, but we also missed it tremendously when we left. Very fortunate for you both to be there!
