Memory Month: Pan at Wisley by casablanca

Memory Month: Pan at Wisley

Memory Month continues through these busy hospital days.

I visited Kew Gardens and Wisley Gardens as part of my 50 things list in 2014 and this is a statue of Pan you can find in the undergrowth at Wisley. Rather satirical expression on his face methinks. The Pan Pipes he is holding are named after him as he is often depicted holding them.

Can't believe it is 23rd April already. Happy St George's Day!
i so love kew gardens. This reminds me of Puck from Midsummer nights dream
