Red Shoes by caterina

Red Shoes

This is a wonderful graffiti covering at least half a kilometer of a wall in Verona and dedicated to the red shoes that have become a symbol against the killing of women. The artist Elina Chauvet was the first to launch an installation called Zapatos Rojos to attract the public attention to the unpunished killing of hundreds of women in Ciudad Juarez. Elsewhere on the wall the painter has written: Love is not violence and fear
Wonderful. I,m all for that!!

Ifemminicidio or killing of women often on the part of their husbands or lovers is a terrible problem, whose dimensions are becoming more evident every day. Thank you for your comment and Fav

Thank you. It's more a social and political statement than a good picture, but I think that 365 should be used also for that.
