Celebration of the patroness saints of Palermo, Italy
I'd like to know more about the patroness saints of Palermo, I think. Interesting shot (I'm not going to mention the level).

Rosalia reminds me of roses and the color red, but here is the color blue and white. Very festive though ;-)

You are right the name Rosalia includes two flowers rosa and Lilium. She was born in 1159 and has been venerated as the Saint patroness of Palermo since sometimes in 1600's when she was believed to save the city from the plague. She was from a noble and rich family but preferred to live in a cave for the love of Jesus. Why the lights are blue I cannot say. This story might interest also @peadar
