So you see! All the Po valley can be foggy at time, but some areas more than others. Ferrara where I work, and Pavia where I went to Medical School are particularly foggy in autumn. Now much less than in the past.
He made the song for Vlaanderen, a part of Belium very much the same I live in, and bordered to it. ( He know as he recorded it also in the Dutch language. )
