Caterina. Catera is a nickname sometimes used for me by my cousins in Tuscany. Besides, six is (or was) the maximum number of letters that can be used in custom made license plates. @peadar
I love that photo. You make so many smart choices in taking it. Your choice of backgrounds it is great. Besides for picking up the color of the license plate lettering, it also lends a graphic quality to the photo, adding angles and shading and shadow. I like the way you composed it. I think most folks would have photographed any license plate in landscape. But you did so in portrtait mode, and sitting lower than center. All very interesting choices that lend to a much more interesting photo. I wonder what might have gotten you into a such a nostalgic mood. But I'm glad to have started following your project officially. Now I see your photos as soon as you post them, if I am online. But one small suggestion... (whispering, now) Don't tell anyone that you lived in California when before they changed to seven characters on the license plates. That was a long time ago. I know. Because I can remember back that far. LOL.

I was not in a nostalgic mood @mbrutus. Just couldn't go out and had to do with what was in the house. This plate has been on my wall for the past 15 years and I thought had colours nice enough for my 365 friends. And then of course

Just saw you link and watched the UTube. Brought back so many memories. And I'm amazed how clean cut they look be today's standards. But it was so fitting that the UTube video of California Dreamin' should be sponsored by an add for a drug rehabilitation center in Malibu. Perfect.
