Photographing the lake at sunset

Lake Garda out of season is a delight. Only the occasional photographer and romantic couples watching the sun go down. Plus a few swans!
A lovely scene and composition. Fav!! 😀

Very peaceful! What pert of the year is considered "out of season"? Looks like a good time to visit. :)

@dide @robz @suzanne234 Thank you for your comments. Out of season is from October to March. Most restaurants and hotels are closed, but the place is more peaceful and sunny days are very pleasant, if not warm

@teresamaro @louisanoffke @peadar @777margo thank you. Yes Lake Garda is at its best out of season. And we are lucky because it’s slightly more than half an hour from our home

@wag864 @gamelee @netkonnexion thank you for your comments. My photographing the photographer is kind of a revenge, because I had approached him friendly asking if he dared to take a pic against the sun and he just growled, then I added that it was going to be a nice sunset and his answer was “we’ll see”. So I decided to make him part of my sunset story!

@gamelee you have been there recently, haven’t you? This is Punta San Vigilio near Garda

Yes, I was there in October. It was so peaceful and quiet, and best time of year to visit there.
