@summerfield thank you. I know it’s not ideal, but I took it yesterday during the Marathon. And today I have a sore throat and I better stay inside. Great idea, congrats!
@carolmw@peadar thank you. There were more than a thousand people running, mostly amateurs, and towards the end many had an expression of sufferance, pain and fatigue! However at arrival all the pain disappeared and they were almost uniformly happy
I REALLY like this one. (Really is used for emphasis and not to say that I did not actually like any other pictures which I have also stated that I liked. I like the timing of the photo. Of course, their expressions. But what I think makes it rise above is the slight angle, or tilt of the frame which I believe amplifies the effect, making the act of running somehow seem less normal and more extraordinary. Great photo. This proves you don't need a school to take great photos. You only need a great eye.
Thank you @mbrutus your comments are always so nice and detailed that I will end up believing you! 😜by the way have you seen my effort to photograph a bird in your honour? Seagull November 8. Quite disgusting!
Not yet. Though I will look forward to it intensely. Must leave the house immediately to complete Thanksgiving errands before businesses close. Or our guest will have no chairs to sit on! ;-) But I can't wait to see soon.
