Prato della Valle is supposed to be the second largest square in Europe after the Red Square in Moskow extending for 8 620 m².. It is the size of 9 soccer fields and it is surrounded by a canal connected to the central isle by four bridges corresponding to the four cardinal points. People from Padua enjoy to stroll in the sun or under the porch of this square, decorated with 82 statues, paid by the rich families at the endo fo the XVII cwntury. There are always plenty of children playing, readers reading and musicians practicing their instruments. Better on black.
