Waterfall from Mount Tofana by caterina

Waterfall from Mount Tofana

Yesterday it rained in the valley and snowed in the mountains and today the hot sun is melting the snow. This phenomenon-the waterfall of the Tofana- is rare and it happens usually in March, at the starting of springtime. I posted it last spring. It is considered a sign of the end of winter. But in August it's absolutely exceptional!

No chance to get the sunset over there, right? This challenges the famous golden fall from El Capitan, Yosemite. Great photograph!

@domenicododaro Thank you Domenico, too nice. No sunset because the sun would hide behind the Tofana before setting and in any case the waterfall at sunset had already become very thin
