The sudden appearance of a deer with long horns near our door was an exciting event. I had the time to pick up the camera to capture the deer looking at me. It’s not perfectly sharp, I know, but we were both (the deer and I) caught by surprise!
Magnificent! That straight-on stare and that lighting on one side of the face is great, and the softness of the scene seems as if you had applied a filter to this on purpose.
