Thank you @robz I'm sorry I couldn't find the link to the original photo that I saw in the book. I think I bought the book after the MOMA exhibition (when was that in 1955? then I bought a few decades later!) and I have treasured it since. There are so many inspiring photos

Excellent shot! I have that book purchased during my college days for $2.95! I couldn't find a copyright date though. However, the second book The Family of Children does have one- 1979. So I think the original was somewhere around 1975. Of course, that's when it was published. It's very apparent that the pictures (and the exhibit) spanned several decades of history when you look at them. I found your inspiration too while looking through them! I could very easily see this hanging among the originals.

@olivetreeann Thank you Ann for your observations and comment. I think I bought the book in 1974, when it was very popular. I'm afraid I don't have the second and the third books, probably lost in one of many house and country moving. I'll check if it can be found on Amazon or in a library. Now I wait for your picture inspiredly FoM!

@caterina I will have to look through the book again and see if there's one I can replicate. Since it's mostly about people and I don't usually do people other than my family that's a tall order!
