I only clicked a couple shots to make some visual notes today and got home too late to take anything else. This is one of the churches in my neighborhood. I shot it yesterday, played w/ it in Lightroom tonight. I think I overdid it a bit, but I am still new to Lightroom so I'll take it for today's pic.
I like how the sky looks almost cartoon, it really sets off the church. I'll also echo about the good use of perspective. Now you need to get some shots of the Victorian in the background. :)
I like the color enhancement on this. Like everyone else, I don't think you went overboard at all. Is this the church that had the ivy growing on it that looked like grinch fingers?
Thanks everyone! After playing with some more pics in lightroom today, I figured out that what I suspected was bothering me w/ this pic is the culprit. I am overusing the sharpening & detail features so I am going to tone that down in future. I love the color adjustments I am able to achieve with it though.
