The magical flying machine minus wires; the far shot I got after they had disappeared from view and we had started to drive home. We were on a hill, taking a turn onto another road and happened to see them rise way off in the distance. I used my zoom - never knew that house was over there and what a nice house it is.
@sarasdadandmom thank you - i thought it deserved to be seen in all its glory. it was such an amazing experience for me to see this, wanted to share it.
@dmortega thank you so much, Dorrena. now i have to go look up what that meas! it reminded me of the exact same thing and i said so to malcolm, but he has never had any and did not know what i was talking about. that made me laugh so hard.
@claireuk i believe they are made of silk but am not positive. i do know that the machine that heats up the air to make it rise up is fairly loud because i could hear it very clearly from where i was standing below them. i was wondering if it gave off fumes.
@juanita thank you - i am waiting anxiously to hear from my daughter-in-law. her mother knows the men who operate the balloon and is looking into what we need to do to get a ride.
@mjmaven thank you so much, Shirley. i wanted to post one without it hidden behind all those telephone lines. it is such a beautiful balloon - and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. i appreciate you stopping by so much! hope you are having a great day.
@catsmeowb that is how i feel when i am out taking macro photos of bugs. YOu dont see half of the details or notice things until you get home and view them larger on the computer :)
both photos are magnificent. brilliant eye and good camera working together. that house is ensconced right there, far from the madding crowd. the colourful baloon's vibrant colours really shine through against the dark greenery. great shots, camille. impressive!
