Changing Direction

Set out for the White Market but discovered they were having their dooryard paved; it was open but way too smelly for me as some odors instantly trigger migraines that do not respond to my rescue inhalers. So, off we went into St. Johnsbury to Price Chopper. I had my long lens on in hopes of convincing Malcolm to go through the industrial park on our way home so I could see if the geese and ducks were there so this trip suited me just fine - then I saw that tree I always want to shoot but never can talk him into stopping the truck. Yesterday was different. He actually pulled over and I managed to climb over the guardrail, did not get hit by any vehicles. It was a good day.

@craftymeg thank you, i know the river is flowing because the leaves were moving but it was very slow. the water is extremely shallow, also.

No wonder you wanted a picture of this tree. I'm so glad Malcolm was nice to stop for you this time. what are you saying, you had to climb a guardrail and watch out of traffic..you're brave!. I had a run in with a guardrail walking out of a parking lot. a car passed me and I was too close to the rail and it hit my head coming down. boy did I see stars...this happened last year October and for the last few month I developed headaches. yesterday, I finally went to see my family doctor, who sent me for X-rays.

@bruni oh no, Bruni, i hope it all works out for you. i have so many headaches, have to be so careful - smells are the hardest thing to control, people, especially men, now, wear a lot of stuff! and it is not like we can take our heads off and put them down and rest them while we do something else. thank you, Bruni, for commenting. hope your head feels ok.

Just so you know I also favoured your picture. when I clicked on the fav it came up as your number 5.so I think Jennifer's did show up as it's still on 5. don't get me wrong, I was not looking for a thank you, but thought I let you know.
Grace, may daughter and I are both susceptible to smells. perfume, hair and body wash are the worst and you're right it's nowadays not just from ladies, men's aftershave and cologne are another factor.

@bruni oh my, do i sympathize with you. smells are the worse. nothing touches them. thank you soooo much, Bruni!

@alia_801 thank you!

This is beautiful, it seems to have great depth and a calming feel. I really like the fact that the reflected trees are clear and strong and the ones with the sky behind are feint
