and then there are these guys

So my son-in-law, Kris, decides he just has to have baby goats. And what Kristopher wants, Kristopher gets. These are three of the four baby goats - Blanche, Stanley and Stella. Stanley is the little and most vocal one. They are very comical and will not get very big as they are a very small breed. Kris is planning on making goat-milk soap as Jason is allergic to most soaps but we know he can safely use that. In the meantime, they are doing a wonderful job of clearing areas of their property that need some trimming.
Goats are so fun with rich personalities:) Elmore Mountain Farm is a local producer of goat's milk natural products if interested in learning more about their products http://elmoremountainfarm.com/

@jeffinvt thank you so much for the link. i know they have been getting handmade soap from somewhere but have no idea where. these goats have quickly become family favorites. had to be bottle fed at first.

@tremerryn to be truthful, we tried to talk them out of it. we had a goat once and it ate everything. pants off the clothesline. the seat cover off one of our snowmobiles. siding off the house. one of the screens from the windows. then, it let our cow loose, which let the pony loose, which took the turkey on its back - all down the road. NOT impressed with the goat. we sold the goat.

They sure are cute and this is a wonderful photo on black. Love the story you told to tremerryn! I guess goats aren't for everyone.

They look sweet but as with most animals they have their own personalities. Hope that theirs are gentle. Love my goats milk, make my own kiefer with goat milk- very creamy also enjoy smoked goats milk cheese.

@terrinorthwind they are very cute and so far very well behaved. They have guide a lot of room, so that keeps them busy.

@tahoemb our goat was an alpine, the only goat in the barn. He was just playing but what a pain he was.

@joysabin they are very gentle. I can not wait to make yogurt. I do every week.

Beautiful little creatures :)

Cute shot and goats. My mum (rip) had to buy a baby goat and keep it in her small town house because a cousin of mine who was here on holiday wanted one. When they left she had to put it down or give it away.

@alia_801 they are very cute and gentle. growing fast but will remain small. stanley is the smallest as he is a few weeks younger and he is the most vocal. he is VERY attached to my son, Jason - i suppose because he bottle fed him.

@sangwann oh, that is too bad but that often happens, not just with goats! it is a very big problem here with pets at holiday time, people give them to their children but when they grow larger, they realize they can't keep them or just do not want them.
