The last day of nf-sooc. I’d like to thank Richard Sayer @vignouse for hosting this month long challenge. It was tremendous fun going back to basics. A 50mm prime lens (or 35mm when shooting APSC), and get it right in camera. No post processing. Zoom with your feet, be extra careful with your composition, think hard about what you want the image to look like and choose the exposure to achieve that. Just like the old days. Digital makes us all a bit lazy sometimes (I can hear some of you saying “Speak for yourself”) so it’s worthwhile getting back to basics every now and again. Thanks again Richard, and I’m already looking forward to next September.
