Our flight left Maui after 6pm. It was a good thing we had rented the car. Tom dropped me in front of the airport and went right over to return the car. We had to get there pretty early to go through all the normal pre flight process (they only have one body scanner the rest are the old kind), but they have an agricultural scanner, also. Not a big deal, but one more stop on the way home. By the time we had arrived at the airport we were already pretty tired from visiting all of our favorites that day. We had a quick up and back down at Honolulu. After 1 1/2 hour layover there we started the very long leg back to Dallas. Thankfully, I fell asleep for most of that leg. With three hours in Dallas to kill I think we ate breakfast. I honestly don't remember. We finally got back to Greater Cincinnati International at about 2:30 the next day. I took this at before the touch down in Honolulu as the sun left us, or we left it in the skies.

The flight home is never easy, and sure seems so much longer than the one going, eh ; ) I am so glad you had such a wonderful time, and glad we could share in some of it through your pictures.
