I am so mad at the rabbit population I don't know what to do. I even had "The Talk" one morning with the Mommy or Daddy. We came back from Charlie's vet check to find this little doll sitting in the driveway - all by itself! I wish I could convey how tiny this little one is. He is so scared that he/ she is just sitting behind the bushes. I think it would come to me if I sat long enough.
Maggie is on high alert. She has eaten at least one and 1/2 bunnies this summer. The phrase "dumb bunny" is so right. They keep digging holes in my garden and stashing the babies! That doesn't fool my sweet little corgi who is hot on the hunt. I hope Mommy or Daddy comes and gets this poor little thing. Tom has trapped and relocated one bunny, two opossums and released a very angry squirrel.......
We have a love, hate relationship with our rabbit population too. We curse them for eating the vegies & digging up the beds but then don't bother when we drive past them on the way out & they don't even move from sunbathing on the grass. When we come in at night they run everywhere in the headlights...to kill them though....I just couldn't do it! Look at the sweet little thing!
Just a sweet capture, no doubt about it!! Oh my, how cute is that little bunny. I too hope that Mommy &/or Daddy come get it soon. I know they can be such a pest in the garden, but...just look at that sweet face and adorable little ears.
Such a sweetie. We also were having bunny problems. They were coming through our "open for the view" fence into back yard, eating the grass to the point where we had to have a whole large area replanted. We put up wire that had very tiny holes in it (can hardly see it), and rabbits can no longer get into the yard. (Also keeps out the squirrels.) Rabbits are still all over the neighborhood and continue to use our front yard as their feeding grounds. They live in the bushes across the street from us.
this is about the size of the one that our cat brought in one night. I sure hope this guy made it. I have convinced myself that the one our cat brought in is still alive and well
