Thanks to all of you for putting my Calla Lily on the Popular Page. This is another of the Black Currant Orchid from the other day. I took a lot of shots of this amazing flower.
It has been a strange couple of days. I am working with my one son to find somewhere for my ex husband to live. Long story. My granddaughter by marriage who is such a sweet and beautiful girl called and she just had a basal cell carcinoma removed from her nose. The plastic surgeon had to work three times to get clear margins. She will go back on Monday for reconstructive surgery. Please keep Ashley in your prayers.
This is a stunning orchid, I have never heard of a Black Currant Orchid but I can see why it gets its name! Thinking of you and Ashley and praying that all goes well with her reconstructive surgery.
Your Cala shot definitely deserves the PP. This orchid is gorgeous, and the color is beautiful. I'm going this weekend to an orchid show at the botanical garden near my house, and I'm excited about it.
I can see from the colours why its called as it is! It really is a beautiful flower! It seems you have a lot of stress in your life - as long as it doesn't turn into 'distress" you will be fine!
