I'm so sorry that I have been in so many places but here - but I had to stop and find the time today. A dear friend of mine from church that I have known since I was five years old lost her 26ish year old son yesterday to drug abuse.
It is such a painful thing - and he'd been doing really well. So please join me in praying, keeping good thoughts, being active in your community - whatever it takes so that others don't have to hurt like this. He was a wonderful young man - used to come and help me with Baby Bear. He came to church, he grew up in a good family with a teacher and an executive - and yet he lost his battle with drugs.

Your photo is perfect for this. I am so sorry about the young man and his family. My sons have also lost friends to drugs...one was doing so well until his father had a heart attack and then the son overdosed. Drugs are so sad. We had our own battle. Prayers for you and the family.

A lovely shot. Sorry 🙏 for your friend 's loss. It's so difficult for people to kick the drug habit once it takes hold. I've dealt with many addicts in my job in pharmacy.
