I, like most photographers, hate to be on the other side of the camera. But I had so much fun this morning with pro photographer Joe Simon. Some folks from my hometown, Norwood - which is totally surrounded by the city of Cincinnati - are doing feature articles on "Creatives from Norwood." Today I had a photo shoot down at Spring Grove. This wonderful pro, Joe Simon, spent about 1 1/2 hours going around to some of my favorite spots in the Grove and taking what felt like a million pictures of me. He had the fancy lights paired to his camera and even had Tom working to put some shade on when there was too much light. He says he will share all of the shots with me and I'm looking forward to that.
Of course my swan got into the act. I was glad to see him.
I am so happy that you are being honored for your creative skills by this photo shoot. It would have been neat to see a picture that you took of him taking a picture of you but I like this one too.
Like how you've caught the swan in the middle of a cross made by its wake and the reflection of the tree trunk. Well composed scene.
It looks like a lovely place for a photoshoot - glad you enjoyed it.
