We are finally getting around to visiting churches to see where we might fit in and they might fit in with us. Tom, Andy and I all like Kennedy Heights Presbyterian Church. It is fairly close to home, it is a racially mixed congregation, they are very busy with mission and that appeals to all of us.
Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Narh Yebuah is from Ghana. My challenge is to be able to understand him, but it is getting a bit easier.
the building is beautiful but as you well know the church is the people which doesn't show in a photo. It has been my experience when I have to focus on the speech of the pastor I pay more attention to the message and therefore get more out of it! Good luck in your quest
@grammyn We will. It is just such an odd season in the clerical year to be without a home. These Lenten Sundays approaching Easter are so special. I think we will hang out here until after Easter. And I may go and visit my friend Pastor Nelson Pierce. It is an all black church that shared our building the last several years and I love the congregation.
