We have found a congregation!! We will be officially welcomed as members next Sunday at Kennedy Heights Presbyterian Church. I can't believe how well this has worked out for all three of us. We specifically picked an integrated congregation. That was what we had tried and failed to do at Norwood Pres. This congregation was founded as the first integrated congregation in the Presbytery. Our pastor is The Rev. Dr. Zachariah Yoboah. He was born in Ghana and did his university work there before he and his wife immigrated to the states and he finished his education at Princeton and Yale. In response to what is happening in our country we celebrated "Immigration Sunday." We had folks standing that were from Guatemala, Cameroon, Egypt and South Korea. The congregation is welcoming of everyone and they have made all three of us feel at home. I needed a congregation in my life. I have offered up my photography skills.
