When I was 32, I completed the 365 project with fidelity - I took a photo every day for a whole year (December 2010-December 2011). It turned out to be the most boring year of my life, where I learned the most life changing lessons. I'm so grateful, because a year later my husband was diagnosed with cancer, and we lost him a few short months later.

After my year posting, I had many photography opportunities. I fit them in between being a wife, mom, teacher, grad student, and writer. I spent the fall of 2012 taking pictures of others, who were not grateful for my time and moaned about the cost. I SHOULD have spent that time with my family. It was our last fall together, but I didn't know that.

I've spent at least a year mad at photography, but missing a piece of me.

Now, in 2015, I hope to post here again, and learn to love photography again

Life changes in a second. Live today. Love today. Record the day without letting it take over your life.
