October 28

My orchestra rehearsal ran a little late tonight and as I started to drive home, I realized I didn't have a picture yet for today... ugh! Then I thought of the interesting display of rocking horses in a yard near to where we rehearse in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. I wasn't sure how a photo would turn out at night, but with the flash, it's not half-bad! How would you like to have these mighty steeds on your fence? They crack me up every time I see them!
It did turn out well. A row of prancing horses would not be a bad thing to have along your fence..I guess.

Nice shot - interesting yard art! I love carousel horses and rocking horses - probably not on my fence, though. But it looks like they enjoy theirs! Your night shot worked well!

Great night shot - thankfully they are not your neighbours but they are someone's :)

Makes me think a carousel was taken apart and the horses were put on this fence -- very interesting; but not sure I want this in my yard or my neighbor's. Perhaps its something that would "grow" on you.......lol.....
Makes for a very nice night pic for you.

That is really weird. Cool thing to get a shot of but a bit strange.

Very strange indeed...that is a wild collection and display...to be in a neighborhood is strange...I think it would look neat out is a field somewhere...but it's been there for years so I guess it's become some kind of icon...

Oh wow, I would love a fence like this! Great shot :)

You gotta give people credit for creativity. I wonder how they got all of them. Interesting use but it's also repurposing them into art.

Nice shot, and judging by the comments I´m not the only one wondering ´Horses on a fence? Why???´...

That is sooooo bizarre! Hmmmm....I'm on the fence about this display. It leaves me a little colt. I imagine it IS a night...mare for the neighbors. I guess if you're going to put one up there, you might as well keep going and really roan with it. However, I'm not sure these folks are very stable. Ah well, you whinny some, you lose some. Great shot, btw, Cindy! :-)

Why would anyone think it made any sense to put these horses on a fence?

Now that is an unusal collection! And an unusual display of it. Does it stop a lot of traffic?
