out of the nest

photo 837
both of the young doves were out of their nest and up in the eaves this afternoon. i turned my back on this one after i took this picture,i heard his wings flapping and looked back just in time to see him bounce off the back wall, swoop so low he almost crashed into little molly who was following me, then as i got ready to rescue him from the cat, straighten it out, gain altitude, and was last seen heading east. tough start in the cruel world.

Doves are so much nicer than pigeons, somehow! Lovely clear picture!

Is Molly speaking to you now?!! Fabulous capture ... great pov! I've been waiting for them to come out of there. Would love to have seen you during all the "hustle and bustle" with the bird and the cat. :)
