Rain today. I'm actually grateful. Freed up my schedule just enough to make my day more manageable. And its watering my garden. Its a beautiful thing!!
@karens68 Thanks, Karen! I'd only half-heartedly watered my new peas and radishes with a bucket of water the day before HOPING it would rain enough to give them a good soak. This rain was saving me the chore of dragging out the hose (the sunny spot in my yard is not close to my house.....)
@copperheadglass Thanks Meredith. I have to admit I was afraid I'd overdid the color as I'd added the blue tones. Seemed a little flat in the natural gray. Glad you like it!!
@bradsworld@cdonohoue Thanks Brad and Cathy! I really loved the patterns in this. I took about 10 shots and they were all so different I had a hard time choosing. This one had the most interesting patterns to me. Loved all the intersecting circles!! Thanks again for looking and commenting!!
@darsphotos Yes, nice when the weather can give you a photo AND do your chores!! :) Thanks for your comment. I was amazed at how different all of my photos of this puddle looked. I loved all the different patterns and circles! I'm already thinking of how I would do this differently, so there will be sure to be another puddle shot during the next rain :)
@kimgrowsup Van Gogh's starry night? Funny, it reminded me a little of that too!! THanks for your nice comments!! Love reading all of your comments!! Have a great day!!
Your comment about how looking through a camera and seeing what we couldn't see without it, is an echo of what I said to a friend last night. I have found that 365 has made me look closely at everything around me. The colours, the perfection of the rain drop making their mark on the water, the clarity of the water, all make this a fantastic photo.
