So, I am working a graveyard shift at work tonight, so I had to get out quickly today to have a photo to upload before my nap. I have plans to go out before work for some other shots, but I cannot upload those until tomorrow, so here's something new for today. This is the old rusty gateway of the driveway to what is now a bed and breakfast in Fairhaven. There is something very charming about the fact that they embrace the rusty gate rather than restoring it. Love the original and natural feel to it.

I'm personally a fan of "aged and weathered", so I think it's wonderful that this B&B kept their front gate. When Ken and I have stayed at B&B's there's usually a lot to photograph, so I would imagine a number of people have enjoyed this gate as well!

Vicky..is this the B&B of up by the middle school on the hill...just off Old Fairhaven Pkwy?
The one that has all of the flags and decorations out front, for all of the holidays?

Anyway...it's a very cool shot of the gate. Love the weatherbeaten look!

Totally agree with all these comments, and I like the Pot on top of the
of the collum, I think it was previously filled with blood and that is what is on the gate. HAHAHA * Deep scary laugh*
