Day 26 of the "Flash of Red" challenge- Black and white photography for the month of February with a flash of red on February 14. The theme for days 25-28 is "Contrast." This is my puggle, Karina. I don't have many good photos of her because I have always taken them in color and, being all black, she usually doesn't show up well against the colored backgrounds. I decided to try using black and white contrast to my advantage when attempting to take her picture today. I draped a white bed covering I have over the sofa and snapped her picture as she lay on it. I finally have a photo where Karina can be clearly seen.
@koalagardens@jamibann@randystreat Thank you for your comments on my sweet little Karina. @shutterbug49 Thank you for your comment as well and, yes, I did get down low to take it. I wanted to make sure that I got the features of her face, rather than the top of her head, and I also didn't want to shoot over the top of the draped back of the sofa. Thanks again to everyone who commented.
@tonygig@12dog Thank you for your comments. Karina is our young lady. We have a male beagle named Chester as well. I'm sure his photo will show up sooner or later as well.
