Two of a Kind

I photographed this pair of burrowing owls at Brian Piccolo Park in Cooper City, Florida. The park is actually a sports complex with baseball fields, soccer fields, etc., but the owls (a good number of them) have chosen the park as their home, and they definitely have priority in the park. Wherever they burrow their nests, the area is roped off and they are protected, even if it means that a field cannot be used for awhile.
They are very sweet a lovely capture Fav

@bkbinthecity Thank you for helping to get my owl photo on the Popular page. I appreciate it so much. Although Brian Piccolo played for the Chicago Bears, he grew up and went to school in Broward County, Florida, hence the park named after him here.
