I have no idea what she was eating. It was purple and appeared to be very messy. She seemed to be thoroughly enjoying it though.

@rhoing The park where I took this photo was dedicated as Liberty Tree Park in 1976 in honor of the bicentennial of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. People who donated were given bricks to be engraved with their personal messages that now make up part of a brick pathway through the park. There are also just a few plaques in remembrance of family members or friends, as you see in this photo. I imagine they were purchased and placed by donors as well to help raise money to build the park.
