Too close for comfort. A number of years ago my husband and a friend were on a trip and driving across "alligator alley". She kept seeing the alligators in the channel of water that paralleled the highway. We decided to stop, get out and take a closer look at one. It stayed so still for so long. Then it started to move. We took off across that highway so fast....
@randystreat Thank you for your comment on my alligator photo. I have driven across Alligator Alley many times when traveling between the east and west coasts of Florida. When my kids were little we would make a game of counting how many alligators we could spot along the way.
