I went to bed last night to the continuing sounds of rain and wind that we had heard all day and evening as Tropical Storm Eta passed by. I woke up this morning to silence except for a bird's chirping. Going outside, I spotted this little beauty chirping away in the branches of one of our live oak trees. He (or she) remained very patiently while I went back inside to get my camera and then took a few shots. I would love to know what kind of bird my cheery little visitor was.
