We went on a shopping expedition to IKEA today - the idea was to buy a single floor-standing light but we came away with three lights, a shoe rack, a mirror and lots of other bits and bobs. There was an amazing lightshade in the first room setting we came too, it was a globe about three or four foot across, made entirely of paper flowers, with the light in a cage in the centre. Quite amazing. Sadly our house is way too small for something like that!
