Sea of Yellow

For the past week or so, every day when I leave work I look out my car window and see this sea of yellow flowers, which is a welcomed sight due to the grey skies of recent here in California (yes, it DOES happen at times). Today I decided to point my camera out the window and snapped this photo as I drove by these gorgeous flowers. The funny thing about this is that I spent 15 minutes or so taking macro photos of pink roses just 100 feet away, then decided to ditch those pix for a "drive by" - just goes to show you never know what your camera will capture and what may capture your spirit or feeling that day.

Beautiful. Such a display of color. I love how the flowers "flow" their colors. It is SO nice to see flowers when we have snow!
