If we are lucky and mostly in June, a firefly will shine in the garden. So I was lucky last night, and so much more, she decided to camp on a big rock just next to garden path so I could set up my camera on a stand and shot shot shot... At the end I decided to flash her to finally see this mysterious and interesting bug...
Until now I saw firefly only as a flourescent dot...
Isn't that fun! When I was little it seemed like there were millions of them but I haven't seen many here where we live now (I don't think they frequent the woods as much as they do fields). Good catch of the "glow".
