This is a place I am staying at. Very small, having somewhere between 200 to 300 houses (just few of then residents, others summer houses). Next to us on the right side is an old village, that you don't see here, that I will tell you more about some other time, maybe.
Anyway, all of the houses are surrounded by trees planted by owners. Before that there where only stones and rocks like you can see on some of my pics, and similar to mountain above the place. This is a huge mountain that actually separates mediterranean climate in Dalmatia from continental climate in rest of Croatia. The differences are sometimes unbelievable... This mountain keeps the clouds away, but it also lets down very strong winds, especially in winter...
I have learned to enjoy this place, as a kid, teenager, mom, and now again in a new way with 365...
This photo was taken early in the morning before winds, while the sea is still like oil... Later in day, around 11 am, when the heat turns in, a nice western wind starts to breeze, so we are better off at the beach under trees then inside a house...
Perhaps I could get and post late afternoon golden photo, when I catch it, or before I go back home...
