This is a little piece of the decoration at one of our xmas market locations. Some of you asked me why shoes? I don’t realy know, but I don’t think it is about the shoes... It is more about vintage, you can find old purse hanging here and there, some hats, old bikes, skates, lugage. But I like those shoes instead of stars or balls or snowflakes. It makes it a bit new, and so much in my city style...
Cool shot -- great combination of shapes and light. I remember shoes on trees being a part of the plot of the movie "Wag the Dog." Your photo inspired me to look this phenomenon up, and Snopes has an interesting article about a wide variety of reasons for shoes in trees or on power lines.
