Forgotten

This wasn't even what I wanted to take a photo of today. I took my camera to work with me because I had seen something the last few days that I wanted to take a picture of. Today it wasn't there :-(. I ended up driving past this place and stopping to take a few pictures. I took down the number earlier this year and was going to call and ask if I could go inside and take some pictures but I never got around to it. Now their sign says "Closed for the Season" on the gate. One of these days I'll get inside!

Wow Karen! This is an amazing shot! I like it through the fence! Love the rust of the cars and the sky looks menacing!,

Lol....yeah....you'll get in....next year !! I love bone yard shots !! Great !!

Awesome shot...even the fence looks rusty! The sky looks ominous; the cars are interesting with broken windows and headlamps, rust and flat tires. Great shot!

that looks like a great place to go and take photos! There's an old boat graveyard close to me that I've been dreaming of getting in for some shots, its all fenced off and closed up when I go by. One of these days.....

The whole scene looks very nastalgic. Definitely taking the photo through the fence makes the shot.

Nostalgic feeling comes in when you see this shot...wonderful...

great angle and I agree with the others, it has a nostalgic feel to it.

Nicely captured - Love the angle and processing.

Actually the chain link fence adds to the feeling. Like a humane society for lost cars. Really nice Karen.

Ooooh, I know how you love the old cars! What fun it would have been to look around inside and know the story about this storage yard! I wonder what they mean about "season"? I like the picture you got...it says a lot about being "shut out" as you were...

You got fine colours to this photo - what those old cars could tell us, I wonder :)

How could you resist. Such great curvy lines on the old girls(old cars just have to be female dont they) and the rust is awesome.

I like Wendy's "humane society for cars" - so I can't add anything! Good shot sounds so mundane...

Wonder how many passersby give them a second thought..and then how many would dream to own one and fixing it up. this is a wonderful picture.."cars behind bars"
