This morning we visited the beach to replace one of our own geocaches that had gone missing, and took some photos while there. It was quite hazy and overcast today and a light rain started as we drove home. This may have been 'the calm before the storm' as the remnants of Cyclone Gita are expected in the next day or two.
Yes Cyclone Gita is starting to make her presence felt .. with the wind getting up and we are not really in her path.. looks like an East Coast beach here ... I had never heard of geocaches until a recent trip to the SI and I found one hidden in a rock ... I did put it back ...
@julzmaioro Yes, east coast - this is Mt Maunganui. We only have a small breeze here at the moment but I'm guessing it will be a different story later today. We have been geocaching since 2013, its a great excuse to explore new places. :-)
